Acapella in Motion was fortunate to be asked to perform at the Friends of Tudor Park Festival which was held at the end of June in Tudor Park in New Barnet, North London. The Friends of Tudor Park are raising money to help with the restoration of the Pavilion, a lovely building in Tudor Park which has sadly fallen into disrepair. They hope to restore the Pavilion and perhaps, one day there will be a lovely coffee shop there for all the people who visit Tudor Park to enjoy! We loved being part of this special day and we hope to sing with you again in the future.
Acapella in Motion is an A Capella choir based in New Barnet. We sing pure Capella music – which is more challenging than singing in a regular choir as you need to be ableto sing, keep time, pitch and listen to your fellow choir members all at once. If you think this sounds like something you’d like, then do come along to one of our Tuesday evening sessions at 7.15 p.m. at the Subud Centre in New Barnet. Our line up included Let it Be by the Beatles, By The Rivers of Babylon – a Traditional Song, Royals, by Lourdes, Iko Iko, also a traditional song, Lean on Me, a 1960’s classic, Say Something by Christina Aguiliera, Little Bitty Pretty one, Hold Back the River by James Bay, and Dream Dream Dream by the Everly Brothers.
