WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS!

Acapella in Motion is an A Capella Choir previously located in Barnet but now in Guernsey in the fabulous Channel Islands that sings pure A-Capella Music. We are a very small vocal group, with the aim of a maximum of ten members. The music we sing includes Pop, Sea Shanties, Rock n’ Roll, Alternative Music and even the odd Classical piece. We are on the hunt for new members!

Do I need any special skills to sing A-Capella?

A Capella is harder than singing along to a piano ot backing track as you literally make the music yourself. A good sense of pitch and rhythm is essential. It really helps if you have experience singing with other choirs in parts before you come. You don’t have to be able to read sheet music, as we work out the parts by ear and provide them on the website to learn. As we’re small, it is essential that you will need to be able to keep to your own voice part without swapping to the part of the person standing next to you.
